Fire Protection Technician

A fire protection technician according to the National Council of the Slovak Republic Law No. 314/2001 of Law Code on Fire Protection, as amended, ensures
  • carrying out preventive fire inspections,
  • selecting places with high fire danger and setting numbers of fire patrol members,
  • carrying out periodical schoolings on fire protection and vocational trainings of fire patrols,
  • putting together and keeping documentation on fire protection in congruence with the status quo,
  • setting fire security requirements when the use of buildings is changed,
  • organizing and evaluating training fire alarms,
  • putting together and keeping documentation on fire protection in congruence with the status quo and according to the binding regulations (fire statute, fire rules, fire alarm directives, a plan of evacuation, keeping a fire book, … etc.),
  • warning of changes in legislative regulations and updating the documentation,
  • carrying out preventive fire inspections,
  • selecting places with high fire danger and setting numbers of fire patrol members,
  • carrying out periodical schoolings on fire protection for new employees, the other employees, managerial employees and employees securing fire protection during time off,
  • carrying out periodical vocational trainings of fire patrols,
  • setting fire security requirements when the use of buildings is changed, in reconstructions of technological devices, in reparations of devices, in bucks and in starting production,
  • securing the contact with the relevant civil service body, taking part in controls,
  • preparing, organizing and evaluating training fire alarms,
  • providing vocational consultancy in the sphere of fire protection via phone, e-mail and personally

Further activities connected with providing Fire Protection:

  • sale, revisions and reparations of mobile fire extinguishers, hosepipe devices, marking for the Fire Protection.
