WSHP Technician (Work Security and Health Protection Technician)

WSHP Technician: security and technical services according to the National Council of the Slovak Republic Law No. 124/2006 of Law Code on Work Security and Health Protection and on Changes and Supplements to Some Laws
  • putting together, keeping and permanent updating the WSHP documentation according to the binding regulations (a regular annual inspection, a traumatology plan, basic principles of employing women, … etc.),
  • carrying out general schoolings for employees on WSHP on prescribed dates: an introductory schooling of employees, periodical schoolings, extraordinary, special and professional schoolings, schoolings for managerial employees, schoolings for deputies of employees,
  • evolving plans of general and vocational schoolings for employees, plans of vocational inspections and testing of selected technical devices and plans of medical examinations; supervising the plans,
  • carrying out periodical checks on work security and health protection, warning of the found shortcomings and proposing steps for elimination of the found shortcomings (preventive control activities),
  • warning of the changes in legislative regulations and updating the documentation,
  • taking part in work injuries investigation, consultancy while processing a record on a work injury and in announcing a work injury in an enacted way to the relevant bodies, vocational help in compensations,
  • organizing and inspection of fulfilling duties resulting from the regulations on WSHP,
  • securing a contact with the relevant civil service body and taking part in controls,
  • providing vocational counsels for an employer and for the other managerial employees on WSHP questions,
  • developing of risks evaluation according to Section 6, Clause 1, Letter c, Law No. 124/2006 of Law Code with the FP proposal,
  • consultancy in the sphere of WSHP – via phone, e-mail, personally,
  • developing WSHP policy according to Section 6, Clause 1, Letter k, Law No. 124/2006 of Law Code,

  • carrying out general schoolings for employees on WSHP on prescribed dates: an introductory schooling of employees, periodical schoolings, extraordinary, special and professional schoolings, schoolings for managerial employees, schoolings for deputies of employees, schoolings for drivers of the referent vehicles,
  • evolving plans of general and vocational schoolings for employees, plans of vocational inspections and testing of selected technical devices and plans of medical examinations; supervising the plans,
  • carrying out periodical checks on work security and health protection, warning of the found shortcomings and proposing steps for elimination of the found shortcomings (preventive control activities),
  • warning of the changes in legislative regulations and updating the documentation,
  • taking part in work injuries investigation, consultancy while processing a record on a work injury and in announcing a work injury in an enacted way to the relevant bodies, vocational help in compensations (forms for Social Insurance Company, Health Insurance Company, Work Inspectorate),
  • securing a contact with the relevant civil service body and taking part in controls,
  • providing vocational counsels for an employer and for the other managerial employees on WSHP questions,
  • developing of risks evaluation and a proposal of appropriate personal protective working means,
  • consultancy in the sphere of WSHP – via phone, e-mail, personally.

Further activities connected with providing WSHP:

  • vocational inspections of selected technical devices and schoolings for special professions,
  • vocational inspections and testing of lifting devices,
  • basic and repeated schoolings for slingers and lifting devices operators,
  • measuring chemical factors and noise in the working environment,
  • developing a review on risks of chemical factors and on risks of a noise in the working environment,
  • developing operation rules,
  • sale of marking items for WSHP.
